HOP Bus Route Expands to Serve Boulder Junction – Starting Sept. 2, 2025
CU Boulder students, faculty, and staff will benefit from expanded HOP service as the Boulder Junction Depot Square Station reopens. The updated route strengthens local transit connections and supports sustainable travel options.
New HOP Service Areas
- Pearl Parkway (30th → Junction Place)
- Junction Place/32nd Street (Pearl Parkway → Walnut)
- Walnut Street (32nd → 30th)
Same Schedule, More Access
- HOP still runs every 15 minutes during peak hours
- Connects CU Boulder, University Hill, downtown, and 29th Street Mall
Sustainable Transit Goals
- Boulder is adding 7 battery electric buses this fall
- Goal: fully electrified HOP fleet by 2030
This expansion supports Boulder Junction’s Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), making it easier to live, work, and travel sustainably.
