You'll find well-stocked and well-staffed aid stations throughout each route. Hydrate with Tailwind Nutrition and Eldorado Spring Water. ÌýSmiling faces, tasty eats, and a cowbell or two to keep your spirits up! If you need any assistance in between, flag down one of the support vehicles that are traveling the course.
In case of mechanical failure…
For those on longer rides, please bring a phone, spare tire tube and, ideally, portable pump or CO2 cartridge to ensure you can quickly rejoin the ride. If your bike has mechanical shifting, be sure to pack a spare battery. There will be a volunteer mechanic at the start area, Nederland, Ward and Hygiene aid stations. There will not be a volunteer mechanic at Allenspark or post-Carter lake aid stations, so please bring a spare tube, multi-tool and pump if you are riding those routes. The BBC will have many SAG vehicles assisting riders, but a small maintenance kit can reduce your wait time.ÌýOther ridersÌýusually volunteer to help too.
You'll need to wear an ANSI- or SNELL-approved helmet at all times -- we can't let people ride who don't have helmets. Also bring an ID, especially if you want your post-ride Lefthand Brewery beer. Make sure you have your registration number affixed to the back of your jersey.
